The Jackson Housing Authority is requesting approval from JHAs Board of Commissioners to amend Section 4-III.B. “Selection Method” of the ACOP to include the following statement of local residency preference:
“The PHA will offer preference to any family who lives in the City of Jackson/Madison County Tennessee.”
This recommended new preference will be put out for public comment for 30 days and taken before the JHA Board of Commissioners in the June 16, 2026 JHA Board meeting. All public comments must be received by 5:00 pm CST, Friday – May 29, 2026.
